Mabalacat Now on Web

Let it be known that Mabalaqueños can now drop by at the official website of the municipality, mabalacat.gov.ph.  It all started as a dream, a dream that Mabalacat will be seen internationally through the web.  Ka Roger Tanglao, the dreamer, said, “sometime in 2005, he had a talk with Pastor Lito Gandia to have a website for Mabalacat”.  He continued saying, “Pastor Gandia contacted a programmer, Mr. Mike Caisip from Info Tech School, to construct the website for Mabalacat”.  In the same year, he said “the site was established and was put on web but remained under construction since then.  All efforts were done to locate the programmer to have the website working but all was put in vain”.  However, ka Roger said that it was only on November 25, 2008 when he had known from Pastor Gandia who is in Italy that Mr. Caisip had left the country for an employment abroad.

Little thing he knew about website, Ka Roger did not lose hope to have his dream comes true.  “I talked to my nephew Jeffrey V. Tanglao who happens to be an expert in web programming to design the site for Mabalacat” as he continued saying.  “Jef-jef as we fondly call him, started to decode the login ID and password already assigned to the domain name Mabalacat which is the official website for the LGU.  Bad news came to me that there was no chance at all to modify the site unless I will be able to secure the ID and password” continued relaying his experience.  He further said that more research was employed, new designs were made, Office Memos were issued and data were gathered to be uploaded to the web until at last, he recalled “I hit the right track, was able to get the ID & password needed from the administrator.dns of dns.gov.ph”.

“Now Mabalacat is on web, we can now serve our cabalens here and abroad and we can now shout to the whole world that our dear town Mabalacat is vying for her CITYHOOD” the proud Ka Roger was quoted saying.

He continued saying “my profound gratitude to Pastor Lito Gandia, Mike Caisip, and to my dear nephew whom I owe much for I took his break times just to construct the web for Mabalacat.  And of course, without the support of our acting Administrator, Mr. Rosan Paquia, my kumpare, nothing could be done about.  My sincere thanks to our dear Mayor Boking P. Morales for his words of encouragement  and our contributors, my collegues and my peers in the municipality”.
