Boking Turns 59!

     Dau, Mabalacat -  Mayor Marino "Boking" P. Morales turns 59 years old tomorrow.  The good mayor, fondly called Boking, conducted a corporate meeting with his department heads and heads of offices yesterday at the Max's Restaurant in Dau, Mabalacat.

     In his statement, the good mayor discussed his 2010 plans towards his bid for Mabalacat cityhood.  Boking said "when I first took office in 1995, the town's annual income was barely 21M but because of our efforts, our attitude of never to rest but keep on moving forward, we never stop achieving, now my friends, our targeted income for 2010 is 400M."  He continued saying "it is a 2000% increase in so far as revenue generated income is concerned and we are ready to become the 3rd city in the Province of Pampanga".

      Mayor Boking unveiled his development program for the municipality.  "We will develop the northern part of this town into a prime business district.  Maybe five or more years from now the area will become Makati North of Manila (MANOMA).  It will surely compliment the progress we have gained in southern part of our town".

     In his speech, the mayor said "in chinese belief number nine is bad luck, so its either I will remain 58 years old or I will jump to senior citizen's age at 60.  But I tell you, I may be 60 from top down to waist line and 21 years old from waist line down".

     "I will be celebrating my birthday on Novembe 15 at home by attending mass in the morning at Clark Chapel, then I will attend the groundbreaking at Casmor Phase I in Mabiga and Makiling Street in Talimundok, Dau in the morning.  On Monday I will make gift giving to our cabalens in Duquit" the proud mayor told in his meeting.

     At the conclusion of the meeting, the attendees stood up and sang happy birthday song to the delight of the mayor while he shook hands with everyone present.
