Mabalacat has new Police Chief

XEVERA-MABALACAT - This 1st class town has a new PNP Chief which replaced Police Superitendent Elviz B. Diaz.
It was learned that in a simple change of command ceremony held on November 2, 2009, Police Superitendent Gregorio N. Lim replaced the latter as the Mabalacat PNP Officer-in-Charge. As an OIC, Col. Lim acts as the Police Chief of this progressive town who vowed to make a big crack on drug manace. "my priority in my assignment as the OIC of Mabalacat Police is, of course first and foremost, peace and order but give a big crack against the manace of society, drug addiction". "I had the chance to talk to the good Mayor Boking Morales in his Office. I told him that I will do my very best to prosecute the drug pushers but be light on the users" the new chief continued saying.
During his paid visit among the department heads on November 09, 2009, he had the chance to visit the Honorable Vice Mayor Pros Lagman and went to the Budget Office afterwards.
In his talk with Ka Roger Tanglao, Municipal Budget Officer, he disclosed his intention to pursue his bid to clean Mabalacat with illegal drugs, equipt barangays with the basic laws through symposia, and train his police force with the modern approach on arresting law breakers and prosecute offenders until they are put behind the bars.
"I will submit my amended budget requirements the soonest so I can carry out the mission of this dispensation. I have known the good mayor to be supportive to the officers and men in uniforms" the new installed chief told Ka Roger which in turn the latter confirmed his statement.
On his part, Ka Roger has extended his invitation to Col. Lim on the upcoming budget deliberation slated on November 24 and 25, 2009 to be held at function hall of Hotel Stotsenburg at Clark Field, Pampanga.
