MABALACAT X-MAS PARTY

XEVERA-Mabalacat -  It was a joyful evening at Xevera Plaza attended by the whole Mabalacat Officials and employees as they enjoyed their Christmas party.

It was estimated at close to two thousand in attendance including guests that embraced the occasion.  The whole plaza was filled with chairs and tables that were all occupied by the officials and employees of this 1st class town vying to become the 3rd city in the province.  The night was in a festive mood, serenaded by the Mabalacat Employees chorales with their special numbers.  Plenty of foods, drinks and raffle prizes made the whole night complete.  Fifty sacks of rice were given away to lucky raffle winners, officials and employees were given a packed of 1 kilo-ham each and the cash prizes amounting all together to P150,000 were drawn.

In the afternoon before the Christmas party was held, the Local Government of Mabalacat released the Performance Enhancement Incentive (PEI) to permanent, casuals and  to those hired under the Job Order (JO) contract as authorized under DBM Circular No. 2009-5, dated December 15, 2009.

Mayor Boking Morales addressed his constituents at the middle of the program saying “this is the first time we hold our Christmas party here at Xevera.  Mabalacat is truly blessed in having Xevera because of its teens park, the town is being envied by other municipalities.  They come here to see how beautiful Xevera is.”

The mayor continued saying that the master plan for the central business district has been drafted and now ready for its implementation.  “What we do next is to register this area, north-eastern part of the town, to PEZA to give relief and incentives to our investors to be”.

All the elected officials of this town graced the occasion and joined the host of the evening on stage that gave additional highlights to the party.

At the conclusion of the affair, all department heads and heads of offices were requested to join the mayor on stage while a song in local dialect was rendered in the tune of "Nobody" for the mayor's delight.
